Refund Policy

1. Overview

ScanLedger offers a generous Free plan so you can evaluate the platform before committing to a paid subscription. This policy explains when refunds are available and how the cancellation process works.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro or Enterprise subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

  • Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period (monthly or yearly)
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • At the end of the period your account automatically reverts to the Free plan
  • Your data is preserved — premium data becomes inaccessible but is not deleted, so it is restored if you resubscribe
  • Excess team members beyond Free-plan limits are disabled (not removed) and automatically restored on resubscription

3. Refund Eligibility

Monthly Subscriptions

Because you can try ScanLedger for free before subscribing and can cancel at any time, monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable. However, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis if:

  • You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charge, charge after cancellation)
  • The Service was materially unavailable for a significant portion of your billing period due to an issue on our side
  • You request a refund within 48 hours of your first-ever paid subscription and have not substantially used paid features

Yearly Subscriptions

For yearly plans, you may request a prorated refund within the first 14 days of your subscription or renewal if the Service does not meet your needs. After 14 days, yearly payments are non-refundable but you retain access for the remainder of your annual term.

Upgrades & Proration

When you upgrade mid-cycle, you are charged only the prorated difference between your current plan and the new plan. The unused portion of your previous plan is credited automatically. If the credit exceeds the new plan's prorated cost, no charge is made. Prorated charges are non-refundable once the upgrade is activated.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with:

  • Your account email address
  • The payment reference or transaction ID (found in your payment history)
  • The reason for your refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

5. Coupon & Promotional Credits

Payments made with promotional coupons or free-access codes are not eligible for monetary refund. If you received a discount coupon, only the amount you actually paid (after discount) is eligible for refund.

6. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks incur processing fees and may result in your account being suspended while we investigate. We are committed to resolving billing disputes promptly and fairly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
